Gridiron Glory: Stepping up in the Pocket, Hesitant to Throw.

Feeling the pressure and high expectations following his amazing rookie season, New Jersey Spartans Quarterback T.J. Ripper tries to keep his locker room together with one of their key players in the middle of a contract battle with General Manager Jeremy Spears and the front office. Ripper's own personal struggles, Jeremy pleading with Daisy to leave her profession behind, and agent Robert Shroud trying to get his agency back on track doesn't make the second year quarterbacks "sophomore slump" season any easier.

More Football Action!

New Jersey Spartans Quarterback T.J. Ripper is back after his terrific rookie year and needs to prove to everyone, including himself that he's here to stay! The pressure is on and the expectations are high for his second season, especially as he deals with the struggles of his personal life. This new season brings extra struggles to the fold, including the flashy rookie receiver and Jamal Spade’s contract dispute. It’s a funny read with very descriptive football action that's an absolute page-turner!

Fun Read

Didn't read the first book of the series but Brown's writing flows so well making it realistic and the football action is very detailed.Going to go back and look at book one now and get caught up because some of the details in the book left me confused.Overall a fun read

Good

Good but not football heavy like the first one was. The series seems to be going into personal stories with the main characters and Shroud building his sports agency more and the football scenes are a bit shorter than book one. Good but not what I was expecting from a football angle.

Exciting

Once again just like book one there is excitement on and off the football field, seems to be starting to open up into each personal character's lives. Ted Kosma is an animal on the field, it looks like his personal life could implode at any minute!

Great Book

I got a gladiator feel from this book watching Jamal Spade fight for his money as the fans cheered him on. Very detailed and realistic read
